Doctor of Optometry
Diana Yin, OD
Dr. Diana Yin is a compassionate and highly skilled optometrist dedicated to providing exceptional eye care for patients of all ages. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before obtaining her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry near Portland, Oregon, graduating in 2018. Recognized for her leadership and commitment in her optometry program, she was honored as the American Optometric Student Association’s Student of the Year in both her second and fourth years.
With a strong foundation in comprehensive eye care, Dr. Yin is passionate about helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal vision and eye health. She is known for her patient-centered approach, utilizing the latest technology and advancements in optometry to provide personalized care.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Yin is a proud member of her community. As a mother of two, she understands the importance of family-focused eye care and enjoys connecting with patients on a personal level. She loves staying active and embracing a balanced lifestyle, bringing that same energy and dedication to her practice every day.

Barbara R.
Barbara is our spunky optician who is passionate about all things optical. With over 50 pairs of glasses and sunglasses of her own, Barbara loves it when she can help a patient find THE perfect frame.
Barbara has been working in the optical industry since 2009, most recently as an eyewear representative. With American Board of Opticianry, National Contact Lens Examiners and various Ortho-Keratology program certifications, Barbara is keeping up with the ever-evolving technologies of the optical world. Aside from the “Empress of Eyewear” role in the optical, Barbara is a patient and encouraging teacher who wants her contact lens patients to succeed in wearing all types of contacts- at any age. Her empathy and optimism puts patients at ease.
A Lake County native who is active in the Milwaukee and Chicago alternative music scenes, Barbara’s adventurous spirit takes her on world-wide travels to enjoy dancing, roller skating, and being outdoors for gardening, hiking, running, biking and kayaking. Her enthusiastic and contagious energy helps Barbara connect to her patients to converse about eyewear, cats, plants, concert venues or even Pokemon!

Rachel T.
When you walk in our door, you will be greeted by our fantastic Patient Care Coordinator, Rachel.
With over six years in the optical industry, Rachel has a great understanding of what our optometry patients need. From helping patients prepare for their upcoming appointments to handling eye emergency phone calls with swiftness and care, you will always be in the very best hands. Rachel’s super power is organization. Every detail and function in the office have been well-orchestrated by her, thanks to her expertise and thoughtfulness.
A life-long, avid animal-lover, Rachel’s very best friend is her sweet dog, Smeagol. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because it is inspired by one of Rachel’s favorite series: The Lord of the Rings. Other realms of nerdom that have captured Rachel’s heart are Star Wars and Harry Potter. Rachel is also local to our community, but she loves to travel and explore.
